Volunteers
Volunteering for youth soccer is a vital part of building a strong, connected community. By donating time and skills, volunteers help lower operational costs, making the sport more affordable and accessible for families. Their involvement strengthens the club by supporting coaches, organizing events, and fostering a positive environment for young athletes. This active participation not only enriches the soccer experience but also builds lasting relationships and a sense of pride within the community.
Volunteer Bond Fees and Policy
North United Soccer Club (NUSC) competitive players are required to maintain a $500 volunteer bond (per family), to be held until 6 volunteer hours per family have been completed. This year, all payment plans will have a final payment of $500 due on August 1, 2026. Once all hours are completed prior to August 1, 2026, the payment will be cancelled.
Each family must complete 6 volunteer hours from Aug 1 - July 31.
Volunteers must complete their entire volunteer obligation; partial completion of hours will not result in partial charge of volunteer fees. Volunteer hours do not carry over from the previous year.
Head/Asst. Competitive Coaches, Team Managers, and Committee Members have no further volunteer requirement.
Volunteer hours must be completed by July 31st, 2026 or the account will be charged.
Volunteer hours can be completed by a family member, relative, or friend on behalf of the player. Volunteers must be at least 16 to work in the concession stand and various other positions.
Younger volunteers can be accommodated for certain other opportunities at tournaments and other events.
